HOLLAND Miss Lucy Holland an age and estimable woman of a prominent Isle of Wight family, died on Friday, March 16, burial services being conducted at the graveside in Poplar Spring Cemetery, Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock, Rev. R.D. Stephenson officiating. Miss Holland made her home with her sister, Mrs. R.B. White, of Carrsville, most of the time, and had been a consistent member of the Franklin Baptist Church for many years. Besides her sister she is survived by a large family connection and many friends. The body bearers were: J.B. Gay, J.R. Howell, Tup Jones, A.L. Gardner, M.H. Moore, W.H. Norfleet and D.A. Holland of Franklin and W.C. Jenkins of Norfolk. Lucy E.
