ROXANNA HOLLAND

   Mrs. Roxanna Holland, age 78, widow of the late J.W. Holland, died at the 
home of her cousin, Mrs. Dallas Johnson, of the Courtland community on January 
10, after an illness of two days. She was a member of Whitehead Methodist 
Church. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, January 11, at the grave 
by her pastor, Rev. Clifford Ramsey. The casket was covered with a pall of white 
carnations. Interment was in the family cemetery. The pallbearers were: S.L. 
Bryant, W.H. Baugham, C.W. Barnes, J.J. Dickens, Emmett Applewhite, David 
Johnson, J.W. Cole and Herbert Johnson.
