She was about fifty-five years old, a consecrated, Christian woman of many admirable traits of character and greatly beloved by the people of this community. Her funeral was conducted at the Baptist Church of which she had been a loyal member since childhood, at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon, her Pastor, Rev. J.P. Essex, assisted by Rev. C.H. Kidd, officiating and her body was laid to rest in the cmeetery, here to wait the Resurrection morn. One sister, Mrs. Belle Vick, and a number of nieces and nephews are left to mourn their loss.
