TUCKER GRAVES HUMPHRIES FRANKLIN - Funeral services for the Rev. Tucker Graves Humphries is scheduled for Thursday at 4 p.m. in the Franklin Congregational Christian Church by Dr. William T. Scott of Elon College, a former pastor and the Rev. St. Elmo Nauman of Franklin Congregational Christian Church. Burial will be in Poplar Spring cemetery. The family has requested that flowers be omitted. The body will be in the church at 3 p.m. Thursday. Pallbearers will be T. Hayes Holland, R. Elsworth Jones, William Thomas Jones, Harvey Lankford Jr., Edwin Beale, John Galloway, J. Vaughan Beale, Dr. Darden W. Jones, Raymond Porter and W. Tall Jones. Humphries, 67, retired minister of Franklin Congregational Christian Church, died Monday in Southampton Memorial Hospital after a long illness. He retired in 1962 because of ill health. A native of Pennsylvania, he was the husband of Mrs. Flora Mae (Jerry) Humphries and a son of Edward C.R. and Mrs. Katherine Riley Humphries. He was a past president of the Franklin Parent-Teacher Association, a counselor of the Franklin churches, and a member of Franklin Lions Club. Besides his widow, surviving is a daughter, Mrs. William Rainourd of Atlanta. Rev.
