EVA LEE DARDEN HINES 

   NORFOLK - Funeral services for Mrs. Eva Darden Hines, a former resident of 
Franklin, who died Sunday morning at the Mary F. Ballentine Home, Norfolk, 
were conducted Tuesday afternoon in the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments. Rev. 
Frank R. Hamlinton, pastor of the Congregational Christian Church, officiated. 
Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery, Franklin.

   Mrs. Hines, 79, was the widow of Roland E. Hines and the daughter of Elisha 
H. and Mrs. Nancy Wilson Darden.

   She is survived by three nieces, Mrs. Amo Daughtrey of Norfolk and Mrs. 
Ella Maud Livesay and Mrs. Thelma Jones of Emporia; and four nephews, Edward 
Paul Forbes and Andrew Lee Forbes of Norfolk, G.L. Darden of Richmond and 
Watkins Darden of Emporia.

   Pallbearers were Russell Darden, Andrew Lee Forbes, Edward Paul Forbes, 
Gilbert Darden, Thomas Perry and Watkins Darden.
