Harold Lewis. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery with W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home, Franklin, in charge. Pallbearers were Edward Priggen, Edwin Westbrook, Frank Griffin, W.R. Sublett, Hank Edwards, Gus Simmons, Kilby Simmons and Bobby Grizzard. Mrs. Hancock, 57, died Wednesday in Southampton Memorial Hospital, Franklin, after a brief illness. A native of Dinwiddie County, she was the widow of Robert Lafayette Hancock Jr. and a daughter of Rodger and Mrs. Martha Ann Brooks Wray. She was a member of the Courtland Baptist Church and its Women's Missionary Society and Story Bible Class. She was floor supervisor for Hancock Peanut Co., which was founded by her husband. Surviving are two stepsons, Harry Lee Hancock and Garth S. Hancock, and two stepdaughters, Mrs. Cedic H. Dilday and Mrs. Frank W. Sherin Jr., all of Courtland; a brother, Richard Wray of Petersburg; and 19 grandchildren. Esther (WRAY; Mrs. Robert L.
