HYACIANTH JENNILE BOOTHE HANCOCK

   IVOR - A funeral service for Mrs. Jennile B. Hancock, 75, was held Friday 
at 2 p.m. in Purviance Funeral Chapel, Wakefield, by the Rev. J.L. Buckingham. 
Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suffolk.

   Pallbearers were: William Whitehead Jr., Harold Owen, Vernon Jennings, Bob 
Soulli, Gordon Haskins, and John Earl Bailey.

   Mrs. Hancock died Thursday morning in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital.

   A native of Southampton County, she was the widow of J. Thomas Hancock. 
She was a member of the Christian Church and was formerly owner-operator of a 
general merchandise store in Ivor.

   Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Dorothy B. Vick of Courtland; and niece, 
Mrs. W.J. Spain of Suffolk; and a nephew, William L. Whitehead Jr. of 
Courtland.
