ROBERT BAUCOM PETER HINSON

   FRANKLIN - A funeral Mass for Robert Baucom Peter Hinson, 28, was held 
at 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Jude’s Catholic Church by the Rev. Paul Gallagher. 
Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery, with Wright Funeral Home in charge.

   Hinson died Saturday in a hospital.

   A native of Charleston, S.C., he was a former Southampton County deputy 
sheriff.  He was the son of Bob and Leona Hinson.

   He was an employee of Union Camp Corp. and was a 1972 graduate of 
Kempsville High School, Virginia Beach.  He was a Roman Catholic.

   Other survivors include a sister, Theresa Marie Hinson of Norfolk; a 
brother, Paul Hinson of Franklin; maternal grandmother, Nellie Zkauskas of 
New Jersey; and paternal grandmother, Lillie Hinson of Monroe, N.C.
