Holland and Sons Funeral Chapel by the Rev. R.A. Bergdoll, pastor of Grace Memorial United Methodist Church, assisted by the Rev. J.H. Moreland of Cloverdale, a former pastor. A short graveside service and interment followed in Rosemont Cemetery, Sedley. Pallbearers were Forrest W. Barker and Rainey Hitchcock, nephews, Ellis T. Hancock, David F. Whitley, Robert J. Hotchkiss, and H.J. Hubbard. Mrs. Hundley, 80, died Friday afternoon in Southampton Memorial Hospital after a short illness. A native of Dinwiddie County, she was the wife of Thomas Franklin Hundley and a daughter of the late John Thomas and Mrs. Laura Peebles Rainey. She was a member of Grace Memorial United Methodist Church, its Women’s Society of Christian Service, and The Golden Years Club. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Frank B. Hundley of Nags Head. N.C., Thomas Rainey Hundley and Jack W. Hundley of Sedley; two daughters, Mrs. Thomas A. Gillette Jr., Norfolk; and Mrs. William B. Simmons III, Courtland; one sister, Mrs. Heath Hitchcock, Stoney Creek, and 13 grandchildren. [Laura (RAINEY; Mrs. Thomas F.)
