Harrup was the son of James T. and Grace Powers Harrup of Capron and was a member of Joyner Methodist Church. Surviving, besides his parents, are two sisters, Mrs. Floyd Barnes of Capron and Mrs. C.A. Drummond of Emporia, and a brother William C. Harrup of Wakefield. The funeral service will be conducted by W.J.M. Holland and Sons Funeral Home Wednesday at 4 p.m. by the Rev. J.S. Peebles of Joyner Methodist Church. Burial will be in Capron Cemetery. Pallbearers were James N. Nicholson, Buck Edwards, C.G. Harrup, Jr., Bruce Flowers, Jr., Fred Fisher, Waverly Kitchen, Herman Kitchen, Shelton Barnes.
