All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ AMY EUGENIA HARRIS HARRIS Funeral services for Mrs. Amy Eugenia Harris, 70, whose death occurred at 10:20 o’clock Sunday morning, May 20, at the residence, 1407 Monterey Avenue, Norfolk, were held at the Holloman-Brown Funeral Home on Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock. Mrs. Harris, the widow of John Z. Harris, was formerly of Branchville, having lived there for nearly 30 years. She had made her home in Norfolk for the past 16 years with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Harrell. She was a member of the Larchmont Methodist Church in Norfolk. The deceased was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ross Harris of Seaboard, N.C. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. R.D. Vick, Sr., of Branchville and Miss Mary Harris of Seaboard; three brothers, M.L. Harris of Portsmouth and S.S. and L.L. Harris of Seaboard; two daughters, Miss Georgia Harris and Mrs. Martin Harrell of Norfolk; and two grandchildren, Emmy Lou and John Martin Harrell of Norfolk. After the services in Norfolk, the remains were taken to Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins, for interment at 2 o’clock. Amy Eugenia (HARRIS; Mrs. John Z.)
