RAY C. HARRIS 

  Ray Carlton Harris, 60, of 306 Caroline Ave. died Friday at 12:35 p.m. in a 
hospital. 

  A native of Southampton County, he was a son of Mrs. Lula Johnson Harris and 
the late William Edward Harris and the husband of Mrs. Mozelle Dale 
[sic; Dail] Harris. 

  He was a member of Millfield Baptist Church and Moose. 

  Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. N.H. 
Bradshaw Jr. and Mrs. David T. Fowler of Nansemond County; four step-
daughters, Mrs. George W. Bunch of Tyner, N.C., Mrs. William E. Ashley and 
Mrs. Glen Horne of Nansemond County, and Mrs. C.A. Hurt of Hampton; three step-
sons, Valand Copeland Jr. of South Norfolk, Edward Copeland of Lawton, Okla., 
and Carl Mark Vick of Portsmouth; two sisters, Mrs. Lee Ray of Nansemond 
County and Mrs. R.L. Jones of Portsmouth; and three grandchildren. 

  A funeral service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in I.O. Hill & Co. Funeral 
Home by the Rev. H. Raymond Phelts.  Burial will be in Millfield Baptist 
Church Cemetery.  The family will be at the home of Mrs. N.H. Bradshaw Jr. of 
Whaleyville Road.

He 2m. Vivian's former sister-in-law Mozelle (DAIL COPELAND DAVIS) VICK 
   in 1960.  Mozelle (1908 - 1974) is buried in Meadowbrook Memorial 
   Gardens, Driver, Suffolk. 

His parents are buried in Tucker Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery.
