All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ MARGARET ANN BEALE HARRISON A funeral service for Mrs. Margaret Ann Beale Harrison, 40, of 700 Walnut St., Franklin, will be held Thursday at 4:30 p.m. in W.J.M. Holland and Sons Funeral Home by the Rev. James Luck, the Rev. Ira D. Hudgins and the Rev. Carl Lee Ousley. Burial will be in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Pallbearers are Roy M. Carr, Joseph P. King Jr., Douglas Vess, Edwin Barton, Marvin Butler and Linwood Simms. Mrs. Harrison died Tuesday morning in Southampton Memorial Hospital after a long illness. A native of Southampton County, she was a lifelong resident of Franklin. She was a daughter of Mrs. Martha McLane Beale and the late John E. Beale and the wife of Wallace Harrison. She was a member of Sycamore Baptist church, a former member of the Franklin Woman’s Club and a past chief of the Southampton Temple #15 Pythian Sisters. Mrs. Harrison worked with the Franklin High School and Elementary School bands for many years and was active in many school and church activities. She was a school bus driver for the Franklin city school system. Besides her husband and mother surviving are a daughter Miss Star Ann Harrison of Franklin and Wallace Harrison Jr. of the Army at Ft. Jackson, S.C.; and three brothers, John E. Beale Jr. and Lloyd M. Beale of Franklin and James R. Beale of Hampton. Margaret Ann (BEALE; Mrs. F.
