All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ MARTHA HOLLAND HARRISON SUFFOLK - March 7 - Mrs. Martha Holland Harrison, 73, widow of Asbury Harrison, of Southampton County, died this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mamie Worrell, of Zuni, after a short illness. Surviving her are seven daughters, Mrs. Worrell, Mrs. H.K. Lee, Mrs. C.A. Scott and Mrs. Towers, of Norfolk; Miss LeClaire Harrison, Mrs. W.C. Harrell and Mrs. J.C. Dean, of Portsmouth; two sons, G.T. Harrison, of Zuni, and N.J. Harrison, of Portsmouth; a brother, G.H. Holland, of Zuni, and 12 grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at Tucker Swamp Baptist Church Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock by the Rev. Rufus H. Corbitt. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Percy Bradshaw, Hurley Clarke, P.E. Worrell, C.M. Joyner, L.E. Eley, Paul Carr, of Zuni; H.E. Branch and John Faircloth, of Ivor.
