Harrison, 86, of 341 Douglas Ave., retired 40 year employee of Portsmouth Transportation Co., died Thursday in a hospital. He retired from the company in 1960. He was the husband of the late Mrs. Bessie Sadler Harrison and an Army veteran of World War I. He was born in Southampton County. He was a member of Tucker Swamp Baptist Church, Zuni. Survivors include four sisters, Mrs. Ora Lee, Mrs. Hattie Deans, Mrs. Sarah Scott and Mrs. Leclaire Jones of Norfolk; and nieces and nephews. A funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in Tucker Swamp Baptist Church at Zuni by the Revs. J. Waverly Horne and John W. Crocker. The body will be in church Saturday at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery, Suffolk with Snellings Funeral Home, Portsmouth Chapel in charge. ****************************************************************************** NURNEY J.
