HARCUM - REAL ESTATE DEVELOPER Norfolk - Robert Lloyd Harcum, 70, a retired real estate investor and developer, died in a hospital Tuesday at 2:15 pm. He was the husband of Mrs. Mary W. Harcum and a son of Warren Wilson and Mrs. Mary Simmons Harcum. A native of Franklin, he lived here most of his life, lately at 1412 Sweetbriar Ave. He was a member of Norfolk Elks Lodge 38, United Commercial Travelers Association, and Lakewood Civic League and a charter member of Lafayette Yacht Club. He developed areas along Military Highway and Azalea Garden Road Shopping Center. Besides his widow, he is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Minnie H. Ratley and Mrs. Bertha H. Kellenberger of Virginia Beach, and two brothers, Herbert Harcum of Portsmouth and Russell G. Harcum of Norfolk. A funeral service will be conducted in Hollomon brown Funeral Home Thursday at 3 pm by the Rev. Melvin Hughes of Princess Anne Plaza Baptist Church. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
