Mr. Harrison, a native of Onancock, was a retired U.S. Army master sergeant and worked for Be-Lo Market. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy M. Harrison; three daughters, Diane Johnson of Richmond, Debra Erreguin of Mappsville and Karen Rodgers of Suffolk; three sons, Richard W. Harrison Jr. of Cape Charles, Glenn Harrison of Franklin and Mark Harrison of Mappsville; his mother, Virginia Rea of Greenbush; a brother, Billy Harrison of Greenbush; and 11 grandchildren. Graveside services were conducted July 27 in Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins, by the Rev. Kenneth Williams. McDowell Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
