Resident of Carrsville Succumbs In Hospital There; Funeral Tomorrow Mrs. Vergie Hatfield Hargrave, aged about 25 years, wife of V.L. Hargrave, of Carrsville, Va., died yesterday afternoon in St. Vincent's Hospital, Norfolk, after several weeks' illness. Besides her husband she is survived by two children, David Edward and Filbert Clinton Hargrave, of Carrsville; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C.L. Hatfield of Como, N.C.; three sisters, Mrs. J.F. Parker, of near Franklin, Mrs. Lee Barham, of near Sedley, Va., and Miss Rebecca Hatfield, of Como, N.C.; four brothers, George Hatfield, of Carrsville, Bennie Hatfield, Smithfield, Morgan Hatfield, and James L. Hatfield of Como, N.C. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Black Creek Baptist church, near Franklin, conducted by the Rev. Mr. Bradshaw. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
