All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ JOHN THOMAS HART THE TIDEWATER NEWS John Thomas Hart, aged 42 years, was killed instantly in Baltimore March 5, when struck by a shifting engine as he was leaving the Mount Clare Shop, where he was employed, to return to his home. Mr. Hart was born near Branchville, Va., April 3, 1888. He was the son of the late Mrs. Pauline Wrenn Hart and Eugene A. Hart. When he was about 15 years of age the family moved to Capron, Va. He lived there until a short time after his marriage in December, 1908, to Miss Lulie Barham Hill, daughter of Mrs. Rosa M. Hill and the late Frank T. Hill of Capron. He then moved to Richmond, where he was employed at the locomotive works, and two years later moved to Baltimore. There he was employed at Mount Clare shops of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company, from then until the time of his death. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Lulie B. Hart; a daughter, Mary Guessna Hart, two sons, Riley and John Jr. and by two sisters, Miss Louise Hart and Mrs. J.L. Kelley of Capron. [John Thomas HART, employee of the B&O R.R.
