All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ WILLARD FLOBERT HART Funeral services for Willard Flobert Hart, 67, Franklin jeweler, who died Saturday morning, May 3, at the residence in Norfleet Street, were conducted Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock in the chapel of W.J.M. Holland & Sons by Revs. Elmer N. Hassell and R.D. Stephenson. Interment was in Poplar Spring Cemetery, the active pallbearers being R.H. Allen, Tony Cobb, J.P. King, John H. Panton, Harry Steinhardt and J. Edgar Weede. Friends of the family were honorary pallbearers. A native of North Carolina, Mr. Hart came to Franklin in 1907 to accept a position with R.D. Brown, a jeweler and watchmaker. On the death of Mr. Brown he purchased the business and operated it until his death. He was a member of the Franklin Methodist Church and the husband of the late Mrs. Mary Ellen Beaman Hart. He is survived by one son, Willard Flobert Hart, Jr., of Franklin, with whom he made his home.
