Horton, widow of Thomas J. Horton, died Monday, May 22, 2000. Mrs. Horton was a homemaker, a retired secretary, and was a member of Thomas Memorial Baptist Church in Drewryville. She is survived by three sisters-in-law, Barbara H. Ezelle of Emporia, Edith Westbrook and Ruth Gorman, both of Atlanta; and two nieces, Dina Clapper of Drewryville and Tina Rainey of Kill Devil Hills, N.C. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Owen Funeral Home, Jarratt, where the funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday. Interment will be in Drewryville Cemetery.
