CORA BELLE DARDEN HARRELL 

SUFFOLK - FEB. 9 - Mrs. Cora Bell Darden Harrell, 80, died here Wednesday 
at 9 p.m. at Lamm's Nursing Home, after a long illness.  She was a daughter 
of the late Richard and Cordelia* Vaughan Darden of Southampton County, and a 
member of Holy Neck Christian Church, the Women's Bible Class and the Woman's 
Missionary Society of the church.  She is survived by her husband, Jobie T. 
Harrell, of Holland; a daughter, Mrs. J.T. Southerland of Norfolk; a son, J. 
Marshall Harrell, of Suffolk, and a brother, James Walter Darden, of Egg 
Harbor City, N.J.  Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 3 p.m. at 
Holy Neck Christian Church by the Rev. R.T. Grissom, pastor, and Rev. James 
H. Lightbourne Jr., pastor of the Holland Christian Church.  Burial will be 
in the Holland cemetery.  The body will be taken from the Hill Funeral Home 
to the church, Friday at 1 p.m.
