ELIZABETH LEIGH HERRIN 

  ZUNI - Miss Elizabeth Leigh Herrin, 63, died Sunday at 3 p.m. in a Suffolk 
hospital after a short illness.

  A native of Isle of Wight County she was a daughter of Mrs. India Catherine 
Herrin and the late T.J. Herrin.  She was a member Tucker Swamp Baptist 
Church.  She attended Virginia Intermont College at Bristol and Columbia 
University in New York and graduated from Westhampton College in Richmond.

  Her mother is her only survivor.

  A funeral service will be conducted Tuesday at 4 p.m. in Purviance Funeral 
Chapel, Wakefield by the Rev. J.W. Horne.  Burial will be in Tucker Swamp 
Baptist Church Cemetery, near Zuni.
