MRS. BETTY H. HORNE 

  Mrs. Betty Hart Horne, 71, prominent resident of Zuni, died Friday morning 
after a long illness.  She was born in Southampton County [sic*], October 14, 
1864, and was married to J.H. Horne in 1892. 

  Surviving her are four daughters, Mrs. B.R. Worrell, Mrs. Irma C. Bowden, 
Mrs. B.O. Councill and Mrs. L.C. Johnson, all of Zuni; 12 grandchildren and 
one great grandchild; one brother, C.S. Hart of Smithfield. 

  Funeral services were conducted at Tucker Swamp Baptist Church Sunday 
afternoon at 2:30 o'clock by the Rev. Gordon Price.  Burial was in the church 
cemetery.
