Horne, aged 69, a prominent farmer of Zuni, died this morning at 5:25 o'clock in a Suffolk Hospital after a short illness. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. A. Horne, 13 children: Mrs. G.R. Bowden and Mrs. J.J. Pulley of Newport News; Mrs. V.L. Lowe and Mrs. C.B. Davis of Richmond; Mrs. Staley Lewis of Isle of Wight County, Miss Gladys Horne of Zuni; B.G. Horne of Windsor; George L. Horne of Virginia Beach; L.H. Horne of Zuni; W.H. Horne of Richmond; J.L. Horne of Newport News; and Lloyd L. Horne and J.R. Horne of Zuni; 18 grandchildren, one great grandchild, a brother J.H. Horne of Ivor, and two sisters Mrs. J.R. Edwards of Windsor and Mrs. J.T. Johnson of Zuni. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock at Tucker Swamp Baptist Church by the Rev Gordon Price. Burial will be in the church cemetery. ****************************************************************************** GEORGE WASHINGTON HORNE George W Horne May 16 - Funeral Services for George W. Horne were held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock at Tucker's Swamp Baptist Church by the Rev Gordon Pierce, the Rev. W.R. Buhler of Zuni and the Rev. F.B. White of Windsor. Members of the church choir sang "Sometime We'll Understand" and "In the Sweet Bye and Bye," a duet, "The Old Rugged Cross" was sung by Mrs. L.H. Whitley and Mrs. J.T. Herrin, and a solo, "Will the Circle Be Broken" by Willie Powell. There were handsome floral tributes, the casket being covered with a pall of lillies and fern. Active pall beareres were Goodman, Letcher, Lloyd, George T., J. Horne, Billy Elton, and Staley Horne; honorary pall bearers were Percy Bradshaw, Arthur Clayton, Jim Felts, Ben Eley, J.B.
