HERRIN ZUNI - A funeral service for Mrs. India Joyner Herrin will be held at 2:30 p.m. today (Sunday) in Tucker Swamp Baptist Church by the Rev. E.R. Cornwell. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Herrin, 94, died Friday afternoon in her home. A native of Isle of Wight County, she was a daughter of Charles Monroe and Mrs. Martha Eley Joyner and widow of T.J. Herrin. She was the oldest member of Tucker Swamp Baptist Church and formerly operated Herrin Private School. Her only surviving relatives are two cousins, Mrs. Sallie J. Stephenson of Windsor and Paul W. Joyner of Zuni.
