A native of Southampton County, she was a daughter of George and Mrs. Rebecca Holland Vick and the widow of John Thomas Ivey. She was a member of Barnes Methodist Church. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Lena Worrell of Newsoms, and a brother, Lloyd Vick of Portsmouth. The body was taken Monday at 2 p.m. to Newsoms Cemetery for a funeral service by the Rev. Robert Abbott. W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home was in charge. Pallbearers were Russell Drake, Ralph Porter, Harvey Porter, Bennie Bunn, W.T. Drake, Rufus Drake, Dr. J.J. Grizzard.
