Jackson, died at her home in Beale Court Monday afternoon after an illness of several months. She was the daughter of Mrs. Mary Wills Beale and the late J. Bogue Beale, of Franklin. In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by three brothers, John Willard and Herbert Beale of Franklin; four sisters, Mrs. F. Paul Rose of Franklin, Mrs. J.C. Bristow of Waverly, Mrs. Charles Herring of Norfolk, Mrs. W.T. Powell of Lawrenceville and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock from the Franklin Baptist Church by the Rev. R.D. Stephenson, burial following in Sycamore Cemetery. The active pallbearers were: C.B. Bryant, Linwood Worrell, W.N. Rose, Jim C. Blythe, E.A. Hatch, Jr., Sam Powell, Bill Hathaway, Joe Braxton and Winston Cullifuer. [Elizabeth (BEALE; Mrs. C.B.)
