All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ FENTON BRYANT JONES Fenton Bryant Jones, young son of Mrs. Margaret Bryant Jones of Franklin and John Joseph Jones of South Quay, died Tuesday, November 2, in a Lynchburg hospital. His death was due to pneumonia. Little Bryant was born October 3, 1938. Shortly after birth he suffered a cerebral hemorrhage from which he never recovered. Besides his parents he is survived by an elder brother, John J. Jones, Jr., of Franklin. Funeral services were conducted at the grave in Poplar Spring Cemetery on Wednesday afternoon at four o’clock by Rev. Elmer N. Hassell, pastor of High Street Methodist Church. Bearing the casket to the grave were G.E. Pillow, J.B. Gay, Jr., William J. Jones and James Jones.
