Jones, pastor of the Franklin Christian Church, died at her home in High Street Friday night following an illness of several months. Mrs. Jones, who was 49 years old, was born in Paterson, New Jersey, and moved to Franklin about two years ago from Havre de Grace, Maryland, where Dr. Jones was pastor. Besides her husband she is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gysber, of Easton, Penn.; a daughter, Miss Marjorie Jones; one sister, Mrs. Charles Jones of Easton, Penn.; a stepson, William Jones of Los Angeles and a step-daughter, Miss Emily Jones of Wilmington, Del. Funeral services were held here Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock conducted by Dr. N.G. Newman and Dr. W.M. Jay of Holland, assisted by all pastors of the local churches. The pallbearers were the deacons of the Christian Church and Dr. R.L. Raiford. The body was taken to Paterson, N.J., for burial by W.J.M. Holland, Jr. and Stanley Holland, and friends from the Christian Church who accompanied the party were: Mrs. E.P. Jones, E.L. Beale, L.B. Norfleet and W.H. Jones of A. Following the committal service in the cemetery chapel, conducted by the family pastor, interment was made in Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Paterson, Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock. Rev.
