(Tup) Jones, died Saturday night, August 27, at Raiford Memorial Hospital after a long illness. She was the daughter of -----* Milicent Naomi Davis Tall of Baltimore, Md. A member of the Franklin Congregational Christian Church and its Ladies Auxiliary, Mrs. Jones served for over 35 years as treasurer of the missionary society. Besides her husband she is survived by a daughter, Miss Shirley Rebecca Jones, and a son, William Tall Jones, both of Franklin; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Parker, William Tall, Jr. and Margaret Darden Jones, all of Franklin; three sisters, Mrs. L.B. Norfleet of Franklin, Mrs. Dale Aymold of Baltimore, and Mrs. J.W. Newcome of Trappe, Md.; and a brother, Henry Baker Tall of Baltimore. Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock at the Franklin Congregational Church by Rev. Harvey L. Carnes, pastor of the church, assisted by Rev. John G. Truitt of Elon College, N.C. Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Pallbearers were L. Britt Holland, Dr. Darden W. Jones, Emerson Jones, R. Ellsworth Jones, J. Vaughan Beale and J.
