Holland & Sons Funeral Home by the Rev. Robert D. Fridley. Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggested that contributions be made to the heart fund. Pallbearers were J.J. Finley Jr., G. Hinson Parker, Lawrence Johnson, Norman Howell, Dr. H.S. Rawlings Jr., F. Story Cutchin, William F. Davis and Leigh Pace. Jones, 57, died Friday afternoon is Isle of Wight County. A native of Maryland, he was a son of the Rev. Roscoe Jones and Mrs. Kate Price Jones of Allen, Md., and the husband of Mrs. Mildred Steinhardt Jones. He was a member of High Street Methodist Church of Franklin and a graduate of Randolph Macon College. He was a farmer and a merchant. Besides his wife, he is survived by a sister, Mrs. W. Elliott Wilkins and two nephews, W. Elliott Wilkins Jr. and Charles F. Wilkins II, all of Harrisonburg.
