Johnson, formerly of this community, died in Williamsburg Monday after a brief illness from pneumonia. She had been in ill health for several years and was under treatment at the State Hospital. She is survived by her husband and one daughter, Ruth, age eleven years, of this town, by two sisters, Mrs. Bynum Edwards of Boykins, and Mrs. L.P. Williams, and three brothers, Jim Griffin of Holland, W.B. and H.F. Griffin. Interment was made Tuesday afternoon in Newsoms cemetery. Pallbearers were: W.H. Story and her nephews, Jim and Luther Edwards, Henry and Joseph Griffin, Clyde and L.P. Williams.
