EVA MARGARET CABANISS JOHNSON

   SEDLEY - Eva Margaret Cabaniss Johnson, 57, died July 21.

   Mrs. Johnson, a Gates County, N.C. native, was the vice president of 
Johnson-Elder Inc.

   Survivors include her husband, Edward L. Johnson; a daughter, Linda J. 
Ashworth of Mechanicsville; two* sons, W. David Johnson of Mechanicsville; 
her father, W.W. Cabaniss of Franklin; a sister, Shirley C. Sparks of 
Roanoke; and five grandchildren.

   The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Wright Funeral Home, 
Franklin, by the Revs. Richard Cooke and David Dillon.  Burial will be in 
Rosemont Cemetery.
