Thomas Johnson of Southampton County, died at her home on Hill Street on Saturday morning, April 23, after an illness of many months. Mrs. Johnson was the daughter of T.L. Mulder of Suffolk and the late Mrs. Lula Smith Mulder. She was a member of the Franklin Baptist Church. Besides her father and stepmother, Mrs. Mary E. Mulder, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Audrey Wilson of California; three sons, George and Oscar Johnson of Franklin and Milton Johnson of Charlottesville; eight sisters, Mrs. E.T. Johnson of Handsom, Mrs. A.R. Futrell of Conway, N.C., Mrs. Wallace Whitehead of Franklin, Mrs. William Landing of Roanoke Rapids, N.C., Mrs. Stanley Skinner of Norfolk, and Mrs. Frank Vick, Mrs. Eunice Raiford and Mrs. Hoyle Garris, the last three of Suffolk; and three brothers, Harry and Eulys Mulder of Franklin and Davis Mulder of Florida. Funeral services were conducted at the Holland Funeral Home on Monday afternoon at two o’clock by Rev. Randolph L. Gregory, followed by interment in Poplar Spring Cemetery. The active pallbearers were Woodrow Councill, Thomas Councill, J.E. Hayes, Robert Mulder, Earl Futrell and Wallace Whitehead. Hattie Elizabeth (MULDER; Mrs. O.
