JOHN FELTON JOHNSON 

   FRANKLIN - John Felton Johnson, 78, of the 100 block of Sycamore Road, 
a retired salesman, died Aug. 11, in a Norfolk hospital.

   Mr. Johnson, a native of Carrsville, attended Franklin Congregational 
Christian Church.  He was a member of the Purdie Masonic Lodge 170, Windsor.

   Survivors include his wife, Louise Norfleet Johnson; two sisters, Olive 
J. Gourley of Norfolk and Ida Virginia Dixon of Carrsville; and a brother, 
Raymond Johnson of Norfolk.

   The funeral was conducted Friday in Beaver Dam Baptist Church by the 
Revs. Richard Dickmann and Richard Peerey.  Burial was in the church cemetery.

   Wright Funeral Home handled the arrangements.

   Memorial donations may be made to the Congregational Christian Church, 
Retirement Home Building Fund Franklin, 23851 or a favorite charity.
