JAMES KENNETH JOHNSON

  COURTLAND - James Kenneth Johnson, 10, a son of James and Mrs. Dorothy Vann 
Johnson, died Thursday in Medical College of Virginia Hospital, Richmond.  He 
suffered from leukemia.

  He was born in Franklin.

  Besides his parents, survivors include two brothers, Keith Johnson and Bryan 
Johnson of the home; maternal grandparents, Claude and Mrs. Helen Joyner Vann, 
paternal grandparents, Lloyd and Mrs. Daisy Blythe Johnson, and great-
grandmother, Mrs. Florence Mumford*, all of Franklin.

  A funeral will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in Mt. Horeb Baptist Church 
Cemetery by the Rev. James Beavers and Chaplain Dick Chasse.  W.J.M. Holland & 
Sons Funeral Home, Franklin, has charge.
