Mrs. R.T. Jenkins, age 40, of Sebrell, died this morning at 3 o'clock in a local hospital after a short illness. She is survived by her husband and three children, Misses Roxie Jenkins, Mary Sue, and Grace Jenkins, all of Sebrell, Va., also her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Junius Brewer of Sunbeam, Va. The funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at the grave in the family cemetery near Joyners, Va. ****************************************************************************** Funeral Service For Mrs. Jenkins Held The funeral of Mrs. R.T. Jenkins, who died last Tuesday night, was held at the grave near Joyners, Va., yesterday afternoon, at 3:30 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. R.E. Burke. The active pallbearers were Jim Jenkins, Noah Bradshaw, Willie Westbrook, Luther Jenkins, Tom Simmons, John Manery, Willie Murray, and Jasper Morris. ****************************************************************************** SEBRELL NEWS [...] Mrs. Nannie Brewer Jenkins Mrs. Nannie Brewer Jenkins, wife of R.L. [sic; R.T.] (Dell) Jenkins, who died at Lakeview hospital in Suffolk early Wednesday morning, was buried Thursday afternoon in the Gray family plot between Sebrell and Joyner. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. K.E. Burk of the Sebrell Baptist church, of which Mrs. Jenkins was a member. The pallbearers were Jim Jenkins, Willie Westbrook, Luther Jenkins, Tom Simmons, John and Willie Manry and Jasper Morris. Besides her husband she is survived by three children, father and mother and several brothers and sisters.
