Hill & Co. Funeral Home by the Rev. James Griffin and the Rev. Jesse H. King. Burial was in Rosemont Cemetery, Sedley. Pallbearers were Clyde L. Brock, Cecil S. Rhodes, O.B. Jordan, James H. Hill, Louis F. Byrum, James H. Holland, the Rev. Lloyd Smith and Thomas J. Bradshaw. Johnson, 54, died Friday at 5:30 p.m. in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital, Suffolk. A native of Southampton County, he was a son of Herbert and Mrs. Nonnie Fuller Johnson and the husband of Mrs. Margaret Johnson. He was a member of Whitehead Grove Baptist Church and Fellowship Class. Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, Otis R. Johnson Jr. of Portsmouth, Robert Merritt Johnson of Nansemond County, and William Herbert Johnson of Windsor; a sister, Mrs. Amos Drake of Jacksonville, Fla.; and seven brothers, Dallas Johnson of Courtland, Joshua Johnson of Norfolk, Willie Johnson and David Johnson of Capron, Edward Lee Johnson and Johnnie Johnson of Franklin, and Robert B.
