C.L. Gatling. Burial was in the church cemetery with W.J.M. Holland and Sons Funeral Home in charge. Pallbearers were her grandsons, Lloyd Johnson, James Johnson, James Sadler, Michael Johnson, Jack Denson and Ray Denson. Mrs. Johnson, 82, died Thursday night in a Hampton hospital. A native of Southampton County, she was a daughter of Henry and Mrs. Betty Bradshaw Womble and the widow of William Johnson. She was a member of Black Creek Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. J.A. Sadler of Hampton, and Mrs. E.E. Denson of Franklin; two sons, Lloyd Joyner of Holland, and Woodrow Johnson of Carrsville; and 18 grandchildren.
