N.B. Blackman, assisted by Rev. W.B. Watson of Black Creek. Rev. Mr. Watson read from the 23rd Psalm and led in prayer. Rev. Mr. Blackman brought a message on "What Is Your Life?" from the Epistle of James. The choir sang "Jesus Lover of My Soul" and "Abide with Me." Interment was in the family plot in Rosemont Cemetery. Besides members of the immediate family many out-of-town people attended the service. Pallbearers were: Otis Johnson, R.L. Wellons, R.R. Lewis, Henry Johnson, Rufus Johnson and Randolph Johnson.
