Ben R. Duffy, with Wright Funeral Home in charge. Johnson died Sunday in Manning Convalescent Home. A native of Ivanhoe, N.C., he was the husband of the late Katherine Langston Johnson. He was a member of Emanuel Episcopal Church and a retired millwright from Union Camp Corporation and a Navy veteran of WW I. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Katherine Jenkins of Murfreesboro, N.C. and Mrs. Lois Thornton of Hampton; one son, Robert Emmett Johnson of Franklin; two sisters, Mrs. Lucille West of Raleigh, N.C.; 17 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
