Johnson, 63, died at the residence, 5300 Arthurs Circle, Norfolk, Sunday, January 6, at 4:30 a.m. He is survived by a daughter, Miss Annie Doris Johnson, of Norfolk; a son, Lt. Willard L. Johnson, U.S.A., and two sisters, Mrs. Bettie Jane Beale of Zuni, and Mrs. Camelia Beale of Suffolk. Mr. Johnson was a native of Southampton County and was a retired mail carrier. Funeral services were conducted at the Holland Funeral Home, Franklin, Tuesday at 11 a.m. Burial was in the Rosemont Cemetery, Sedley. Pallbearers were Edward Manry, G.M. Raines, W.C. Andrews, Rob Bryant, George Vick, W.H. Laine, H.C. Justice and W.P. Newsoms.
