ELIZABETH JOYNER

MISS ELIZABETH JOYNER

   Miss Elizabeth Joyner died July 3, at the home of Mrs. Maggie Kitchen 
with whom she lived, near Isaac.  She was in her 79th year and is survived 
by a sister, Mrs. Turner of Burdette.  She was a faithful member of Joyner's 
Christian Church and the funeral services were held by Dr. C.H. Rowland 
July 4, at 3 o'clock the interment following in the family burying ground.

The 1900 Census (Franklin Dist, Southampton Co.) gives b. Oct 1838; 
   enumerated with Margaret Kitchen (misread "Hitchen").
