JOHNSON JOYNER Mrs. Ida Johnson Joyner, 75, died Tuesday afternoon in a hospital. She was the widow of Willie C. Joyner and a daughter of Robert and Mrs. Sallie Pond Johnson. She was a native of Southampton County and a member of Vincent Grove Methodist Church. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Ruth O’Clair and Mrs. Maggie Pope of Franklin and Mrs. Virginia Smith of Williamsburg; a son, Lawrence F. Joyner of Smithfield; three sisters, Mrs. Nannie Blythe and Mrs. Sallie Hatfield of Norfolk and Mrs. Eunice Bulls of Suffolk; 14 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. in W.J.M. Holland and Sons Funeral Home by the Rev. Charles B. Spivey Jr. Burial will be in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Pallbearers were Kenneth Gelhaus, Willie Drewry, J.C. Johnson Jr., Charlie Munford, Agrippa Sawyer and Curey Jordan. [Ida T. (JOHNSON; Mrs. Willie C.)
