LEWIS DAY JOYNER

   Lewis Day Joyner, young son of Mr. and Mrs. T.J. Joyner of Capron, 
died suddenly January 14, being ill only three or four days.  He was born 
September 15, 1934, and was quite a strong, healthy and attractive child, 
a general favorite with all who knew him.

   Funeral services were held from the home Thursday afternoon, January 16, 
by the Rev. Frank B. Handley of Boykins in the presence of a large assembly 
of relatives and friends, and burial was made in the Capron cemetery, the 
pallbearers being: Henry Earl Marks, Joseph Pope, Paul Marks, V.S. Pittman, 
Jr., Lee Bain, and Alfred Gillette.

   Surviving him are his parents: two brothers, T.J. Jr. and Randolph and 
two sisters, Winifred and Jacquelyn Joyner.
