PERCY CLYDE JOYNER 

Percy Clyde Joyner, age 68, retired Southampton County farmer, died June 11, 
1972.  Survived by his wife, Mrs. Pearl Jarratt Joyner, two daughters Mrs. 
Frances Draper, Emporia, Va., Mrs. Nancy Brockwell of Lawrenceville, Va. 
one son Dempsey C. Joyner, Emporia, Va., two sisters, Mrs. Lessie Bryant, 
Colonial Heights, Va. Mrs. Bessie Boone, Elm City, N.C., one brother, William 
C. Joyner, Rocky Mount, N.C., seven grandchildren.  Remains rest at Echols 
Funeral Home, Emporia, where funeral services will be conducted, 2:00 p.m. 
Tuesday with interment in Drewryville Cemetery.
