JOYNER BURIED FRIDAY William Lee Joyner, 79, lifelong resident of Southampton co., died at the Lakeview Hospital in Suffolk Friday night after an illness of eleven weeks. He was the son of the late William and Eliza Britt Joyner, of Southampton Co. Mr. Joyner's first wife was Mrs. Annie Wellons Joyner, who preceded his in death many years ago. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Raynor Laine [sic*] Joyner, of Ivor; 2 sons, W.M. and G.L. Joyner, of Ivor; a daughter, Mrs. E.W. Fillford of Norfolk; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. at Corinth Friends Church by the Rev. J.R. Stein. Burial was in the family cemetery. His sons Wm.M. & Gosper Lee and bro "Harry" JOYNER are buried in Tucker Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery.
