JOYNER HELD TUESDAY AFTERNOON AT BETHEL CHURCH The funeral of Will A. Joyner, who died in the early hours of Monday morning, was held Tuesday afternoon at 3 o’clock from Bethel Friends Church with Rev. J.A. Stanfield officiating. Interment was made in Poplar Spring Cemetery. The deceased man was in the 59th* year of his life when taken by death and had long been a well loved citizen of Franklin community. He is survived by his father, J.T. Joyner, two sisters, Mrs. L.L. Scott of Franklin, and Mrs. E. Emory of Portsmouth, and one brother, Ernest Joyner, also of Portsmouth, in addition to a number of nieces and nephews. The pallbearers were: active, W.N. Blythe, Cecil Blythe, Exum N. White, Tommie White, Isaac C. White, Jim Scott, Robert Councill, Paul Councill. Honorary, J.G. Joyner, Charlie Blythe, Linwood Bradshaw, Asa Joyner, R.H. Joyner, Joe Councill, J.R. Joyner, Calvin Scott, Dr. R.L. Raiford, Dr. R.H. Cobb, E.L. Beale and Mills Beale. Will A.
