RICHARD EDWARD JARRATT

Funeral rites for Richard Edward Jarratt, 79, who died Tuesday at his 
home near Adams Grove in Southampton County, will be held at 2:30 P.M. 
Wednesday in the chapel of Echols Funeral Home, here, with burial in 
Drewryville Cemetery.  Besides his wife, Mrs. Eugenia Jones Jarratt, 
he is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Thomas Lee, Mrs. Joseph Harrell 
and Mrs. Roy Smith, all of Emporia, and Mrs. Burt Ramsey, of Drewryville; 
16 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
